Albertans deserve a voice, an advocate that is not afraid to say what needs to be said and will not back down from doing what is right.
Alberta, we deserve to have OUR concerns, OUR values, and OUR needs represented in Parliament.
I can be that voice, that advocate.
I will listen to the constituents of Banff-Airdire first and foremost, as I will represent the interests of Albertan’s – even if those interests do not align with those of a political party or its’ leader(s). Party politics has to change and I believe Albertans now, more than ever are ready to make that change happen.
I am both honoured and excited to represent the people of Banff – Airdrie in the upcoming Federal election for a second time. I believe wholeheartedly in the principles of Freedom, Responsibility, Fairness, and Respect. These principles are the very foundation of Western democracy.
As a business owner, mom, and wife, I totally understand the stress and strains placed upon average Canadians each and every day. I am not a politician, but in my professional career I have worked in Health Care, worked for the Department of National Defence, I have owned an Aerospace & Defence Company, and an independent financial planning and investment securities firm. I understand intimately the regulatory overburden placed on small business and the financial stress and strains facing our families.
I work with individual Albertans daily as they prepare to meet the challenges of retirement, put their children through school, and struggle to pay an array of forever increasing taxes. I understand the frustrations and I have the passion to push for positive change.
I, like many of you, have been less than pleased with the lack of leadership in this Country. I believe we deserve a much higher level of integrity and accountability from our elected and non-elected government officials.
In 2019, events that pushed me to run for the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) have only escalated. The last 18 months have proven just how far politicians are willing to go in pushing their own interests above those of the people. It is time to change that.
I made the decision in 2019 and I am re-affirming it now, to “be part of the change I want to see in the world” and I am asking you to join me in doing your part.
I support The PPC’s commitment to defend the rights and freedoms of all Canadians. The PPC has Publicly and openly offered more than just nice words, it has taken solid actions, as Maxime Bernier has travelled the country listening and speaking to thousands of Canadians who demand better from their elected officials.
Max is one of very few politicians who have the courage to speak up and defend western democratic principles and say what is not always popular, but needed to be said.
I once referred to Max as a “unicorn” of politics for his choice(s) to stand for what is right, not what was popular. His choice to adhere to the Party’s principles, to act with integrity on behalf of all Canadians, and to reject identity politics (the “inclusion” or “exclusion” of select groups) separates him from most politicians.
I am both honoured and excited to represent the people of Banff – Airdrie in the upcoming Federal election for a second time.
I believe wholeheartedly in the principles of Freedom, Responsibility, Fairness, and Respect. These principles are the very foundation of Western democracy.
I look forward to meeting all of you over the next few weeks and months. I ask for your encouragement and support as volunteers, contributors, and friends.
“If not now, when? If not me, who?”
